It would have taken A LOT less time had I not left a 5250 session up with the WRKDOMSVR command active but lesson learned for the next three servers on i5 to upgrade. =)

VERY excited to start upgrading a couple of mail files after some testing and marking some clustered databases Out of Service.

1 Chris Whisonant      Permalink Awesome!! So did it tell you in the install that the panelgroup file was in use?

2 David Jones      Permalink Cannot allocate object QGNNINDS

Google search and the first link had to do with a WRKDOMSVR session being up, which I looked and one was up. =)

3 Chris Whisonant      Permalink Cool!! In the past, this message wouldn't come up. I just noticed on a 703 install I did a couple of weeks ago that the installer is now checking to see if the panel group is locked. In prior releases, the installation would proceed, but several things wouldn't be updated. It was very frustrating to get to the end of the installation and find out that you had to run it again. Ha! I did blog about it:
